Baker Funeral Home has been in business since 1897. Brock and Sheryl Baker are the current owners and they are the third generation of Baker Funeral Home. Baker Funeral Home started in Peabody, Kansas with Brock's grandfather. The business locations have expanded under Brock and Sheryl. They opened the Valley Center location first and then the East Wichita location followed shortly. The newest location in West Wichita was opened in 2024.
