Michael Craig Hannon

Michael Craig Hannon went to be with his Lord on Oct. 7, 2020 at the age of 69. Mike was born and raised in Wichita and graduated from South High. He received his Bachelors degree from Kansas Newman College and his Masters at Adams State College in Alamosa, Co. Mike taught at South High before joining the Institute of Logopedics as their Residential Health Director. He moved to Denver, Co. in 1983 taking a similar position with Jefferson County Community Center.
Mike moved back to Wichita after retiring. He loved people, especially his family; he believed that if everyone was kind to each other the world would be a better place. Mike loved to travel and play cards.
He is survived by his spouse Randy Carter, of 40 years, sons Donovan (Michelle), Ryan (Sherry) Hannon, seven grandchildren, two sisters, nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Jeanne Hannon.
Graveside services will be in 2021, date to be determined at a later time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ASPCA Animal Rescue
