William D. Whitlock Jr., 66, of Wichita, Kansas, went to be with our Lord on November 22, 2024. Born on November 6, 1958, in Kansas City, Kansas, William was the beloved son of the late Carol A. Whitlock-Hansell and William D. Whitlock Sr. Known affectionately as "Will," he was a devoted Kansas City Chiefs fan who found joy in riding his Harley, fishing, and camping in the mountains.

Will attended Wyandotte High School and, throughout his life, faced numerous challenges with unwavering faith. His resilience and steadfast belief in the Lord were a testament to his character and strength.

He is preceded in death by his cherished daughters, Heather and Jennifer Whitlock; his brothers, Steve and Mike Whitlock; brothers-in-law, Ronald and Gary Stroble; and nephew, Craig Stroble. Will's legacy is carried on by his loyal canine companion, JR, and his loving family, including his sisters, Karen Stroble, Amy (Dave) Hallacy, and Elizabeth Whitlock, the mother of his children. He is also survived by his treasured grandchildren, Jamie (Isabelle) and Alayna Leonard, and Jay Hartsfield, along with numerous nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.

In accordance with Will's wishes, no formal services will be held. However, a Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date to honor his memory and the joy he brought to those around him.

William D. Whitlock Jr. will be remembered for his love of life, his enduring faith, and the warmth he shared with family and friends. His spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
