William E. "Bill" Sutton

William E. "Bill" Sutton, 85, of Mount Hope, Kansas, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 3, 2025. Born May 2, 1940, Bill lived a life full of hard work, quiet passion, and deep love for his family.

Bill proudly served his country as a mechanic in the United States Army, a role that reflected both his skill with his hands and his steady dedication to service. After his time in the military, he continued to apply his talents and attention to detail in all aspects of his life.

He had a fascination for the intricate and timeless—collecting grandfather clocks, stamps, and coins. Each piece he treasured told a story, much like the life he built over his 85 years. Above all, Bill valued time spent with those he loved most. His family was his greatest joy, and his devotion to them was unwavering.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patsy, who passed away February 2017. Bill is survived by his son, Kenneth, and a circle of extended family and friends who will miss his gentle spirit, sharp mind, and warm heart.

A private celebration of life will be held to honor Bill's life. The family asks that you take a moment to cherish your loved ones and share a story, just as Bill often did.
