Wanda Jean Zimmerman

Wanda Jean Zimmerman born January 24th, 1961 to George Lawrence and Nellie Marie Zimmerman. She was the 16th child out of 18 siblings. She graduated from Heights High School in 1979.

 She was a very loving mom, and caregiver to her own mother. Those who knew her, knew she loved fishing, camping, gardening, yard projects, and was a die hard Chiefs fan. 

Wanda is survived by her son Seth Jones (Carrie Jones) and many Brothers, Sisters, Nieces and Nephews. Wanda was a source of love and warmth to everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Wanda's kindness, generosity, and gentle nature touched the lives of many. Her memory will live on in our hearts.

A visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, October 14, 2026 from 5 - 7 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home - 3224 N. Tyler - Wichita, KS 67205.  The funeral service will be held on October 15, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Baker Funeral Home - 3224 N Tyler - Wichita, KS 67205.  Interment will be at Kechi Cemetery.
