Virginia Diane Sinnett

Virginia “Diane” (Cooper) Sinnett started her journey in life May 6, 1955, at Hutchinson, Kansas where she was born. From there, with her family, Diane moved to Fairborn, Ohio; Independence, Missouri and Kansas towns such as Valley Center, Wichita and finally to settle in Haysville. Diane married only once to Ralph A Sinnett of Haysville for 49 years and one month.

Diane’s adult life consisted of a 5-year stent working as a Dental Assistant. Later she applied her gifted communication skills inherited from her parents towards working in customer service for Dillon grocery. Happiness really came to Diane with the birth of her son, Ian, and daughter, Katherine. The icing on the family cake came later as Diane helped raise and influence both granddaughters, Kristine and Blessing.

Diane left us September 21, 2026, at age 71 but, not before saying goodbye to many family and friends.

Diane’s parents Gary J Cooper and Virginia H Rice passed to heaven long before her. She is survived by ex-husband Ralph A Sinnett, son Ian C. Sinnett (Aleisha), daughter Katherine E Sinnett, granddaughters Kristine C Sinnett-Smith (Sheldone) and Blessing A Trent; sibling brothers Gary J Cooper, Steven H Cooper, John E Cooper and sister, Cathy Cooper, brother-in-law, Daniel J Sinnett, sister-in-law Barbara F Sinnett plus, a host of cousins and beloved Aunt Judy Sutton.

Funeral – Celebration of life service will be held October 1, 2026, 10:00 a.m. at Baker Funeral home, 6100 E Central, suite 203; Wichita, Kansas 67208. For those that attend the celebration, a meal will be served after at the home of Ralph Sinnett, 3624 W 87th south, Haysville, Kansas 67060.
