Ulis Roy Vickers was born on March 24, 1940, to Arlis and Alice Vickers in Rush Creek, Arkansas. He stepped into eternity this past Monday November 20, at the age of 83.

Ulis was a retired residential construction worker. He built and remodeled countless homes during his 50 year career. For recreation, he loved being in the outdoors. Camping, fishing, hunting and shooting were some of his favorite things to do.

Ulis was married to three mothers of his children - Jerry (passed), Genita (passed), and Sondra (survived).

Ulis was preceded in death by his parents, Arlis and Alice, and his Stepmother, Doris; brother Ray, Sister Tommie Sue, Sister Imogene; Daughter Jeanne, and Grandson Sean.

Ulis is survived by sons Wesley (Tracey), Fredie (Delana), Jerrod (Deirdre), Bo (Lisa); daughters Terri (John) and Tammy (David).

Additionally, he is survived by 20 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 5 great, great.

A memorial service is scheduled for Monday November 27, 1 pm at Legacy Worship Center, located at 3310 West MacArthur Road, Wichita KS.
