Obituary

Trulin Wilder Kinser, 92, of Medicine Lodge, KS, passed away Thursday October 10, 2024 at Wheatlands healthcare center in Kingman, KS.


Originally born in Hugoton, KS on November 5, 1931 to parents William and Blanche Kinser. Trulin was the last surviving brother of fourteen children. In his teenage years he met his sweetheart Wilma and they were married August 4, 1951. Trulin was honored to raise two daughters Mary Lou and Kimberly Dawn and is survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.


Trulin spent most of his time farming, ranching and taking care of his animals, volunteering his talents as an amazing horseman. Through the years he was a member of the Cavalry for the Medicine Lodge Peace Treaty. He was very active with the Pratt Saddle Club and a member of the American Quarter Horse Association.


Funeral Service will be held on October 17, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Community Bible Fellowship Church 2853 Curry Ln, Medicine Lodge, KS followed by the burial at the Sunnyside Cemetery in Sun City KS. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be presented to Freedom Gates Boys Ranch 200 N Church Street Hazelton, KS  67061
