Tracey Lynn Burress, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on May 12, 2024, at the age of 57. She was born on July 6, 1966, in Bloomington, Indiana, and most recently resided in Mulvane, Kansas.

Tracey's impact on the lives of others was immeasurable. She helped raise an entire neighborhood of kids through her in-home daycare, creating lifelong connections that lasted well into adulthood. She never missed a school event or activity, volunteering eagerly and supporting her children every step of the way.

Above all else, Tracey cherished her friends and family, especially her granddaughter Rosalie whom she shared a very special close bond with. She and her husband Bob shared a beautiful marriage of 44 years, having met as teenagers and spending the majority of their lives together. They were and will forever remain soul mates.

Tracey's selflessness and strength were defining traits of her personality. She always put others before herself and never gave up on those she cared about. She had an incredible ability to make friends wherever she went, approaching strangers with kindness and warmth.

While her body may have been small the fight within was fierce. Her life was full of adversity but she never let it hold her down, only allowing herself to grow stronger with each obstacle she encountered.

Her legacy lives on through her soul mate Bob, children Amanda and Brittany and grandchildren Rosalie, Link, and Fiona.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday May 17th at Hope Community Church.
