Tonya Dawn
Mcculloch
Mar 11, 1973 — Jun 27, 2025
Wichita
Tonya Dawn McCulloch was born on March 11, 1973 • Went home to Jesus on June 27, 2025 • Age 52
A wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, dog mom, and friend, Tonya left this earth far too soon after a long and courageous fight against melanoma skin cancer.
Tonya was a lifelong resident of Wichita, Kansas. She was a proud graduate of Wichita South High School and spent much of her career as a contract manager, in customer service, and as an entrepreneur. She also served as president of the Wichita South High Alumni Association.
Tonya was a master of many things and a friend to everyone she met. She loved supporting others and excelled at nearly everything she attempted. She found joy in making others happy and had a deep love for all things Disney.
Tonya was well known, and her courageous journey inspired the #TonyaTough movement. She touched countless lives with her generosity and unwavering spirit.
She is survived by her forever love, Kevin McCulloch; her four children and their spouses: Jordan Yost, Kori & Carolyn Godinez, Kali McCulloch, and Kaale & Lauren McCulloch; her parents, John and Robbie Norton; her sister, Tina Norton; her nephew, Xavian Malcolm; her granddaughter, Everleigh McCulloch; and her beloved German Shepherd, Yadi.
She is preceded in death by her nephew, Sloan Suter.
Services will be held at the Wichita South High School Gymnasium, located at 701 W. 33rd St. S. The service will be on Monday, July 14, 2025 to begin at 11:00 a.m.
We ask that everyone who has a Tonya Tough shirt or pearls wear them in her honor. Tonya loved all flowers, and the family welcomes them at her service.
Tonya passionately wanted others to always remember to be kind and to learn from her journey—please remember to wear sunscreen and protect your skin from the sun.
