Toni Tilma, 76, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away peacefully in her sleep early on November 30, 2024. Born to Everett "Jeff" Tilma and Doris "Jean" Ellsworth, Toni spent her entire life in Wichita, dedicating herself to her community and the people she loved.

Toni worked as a caseworker, where her compassion and commitment to helping others shone brightly. Her career was a testament to her deep belief in the power of kindness and the importance of lifting others up in their time of need.

Outside of her work, Toni had an immense love for dogs, often saying they brought joy and unconditional love to her life. Her passion for animals reflected the size of her heart—always open and full of warmth for all living beings. Growing up, Toni loved to race open wheel carts with the help of her father, and her love of racing prevailed throughout her life.

Toni is survived by her son, John "Mike" Adams (Amy Young), her grandson Frederic "Fritz" Adams and granddaughter Cambridge Adams; her grandson Samuel Adams and granddaughter Emma Adams; her great-grandson, Ezra Bernard; and her brother, Michael Tilma. Toni was preceded in death by her son Paul Adams II.

Her family remembers her as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose legacy of love and compassion will forever remain in their hearts.

Toni's life was a beacon of love, service, and kindness. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A memorial service will be held at Baker Funeral Home - 6100 East Central - Ste. 203 - Wichita, KS on December 20th at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Toni's memory to The MS Society or The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
