Obituary

Terry was born in Chicago, Illinois on July 17, 1959 to her proud parents James Townes and Gloria Jean Pennington. She later moved to Wichita. She married James Harrison and they welcomed four gorgeous children: Monique, Monica, Mona and Terance.

She later went on to earn her nursing degree from Newman University. She worked as a nurse for 35 years, in a variety of nursing assignments-from hospitals including the VA hospital, hospice, and teaching, among others. She truly enjoyed helping others.

The most important decision she made was to dedicate her life to Jehovah God. She was baptized on Jan 1, 1985. She served her God as a regular publisher, at times as an auxiliary pioneer and as a regular pioneer. She not only taught her children about Jehovah, but others as well.

They later blessed her with grandchildren, to them she was Meme and she loved them with all her heart and again taught them about her God, Jehovah. She even learned Vietnamese to be able to share the good news with that community. She had the privilege to attend two International Conventions of Jehovah's Witnesses. The destinations were Hawaii and Zimbabwe. During a trip to visit the World Headquarters of Jehovah's Witnesses on a bus trip, she met George Brown. He swept her off her feet and they were married on September 20, 2025. She was grateful for his love and spiritual direction.

She is survived by: Her children Monique, Monica, Mona and Terance. Grandchildren: Joshua, Taurean, Hezekiah, Tomias, Kaden, Madison, Tanisha, Adriana and Bernadette. Brothers James, Ralph and Paul. Uncle Otis Daniel Townes. Cousin Alan (Deborah) Badgett. Along with many other family members and dear friends.
