Teri Garrigus 55, passed at 3:50 am on January 5th 2025 at Wesley hospital in Wichita KS. Teri was born 12/8/1969 in Wichita Kansas to Patricia Butts and Phillip Scott Sr.

Teri was a home maker for most of her life. She was a great mother and an even better nana. If you knew Teri you knew that she was a fighter for what she believed in. You knew she would do any and everything to make someone smile. Teri would make you the last meal in her home if you said you were hungry. Because that's just who she was.

In 1990 she welcomed her daughter Clara. Larry and Teri were later married and divorced, but remained very close friends and coparented their daughter.

In 1998 Teri met her soulmate, Daniel Garrigus. In 1999 they were married and welcomed their son Jeremy Garrigus.

She was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Garrigus, her father Phillip SR, many brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her Daughter Clara Pearson of Andover KS, Son Jeremy Garrigus of Andover Kansas, Step Daughter Natalie Garrigus, her grand children of Andover KS and Wichita KS, mother Patricia Butts of Wichita KS, Three brothers Daniel, Billy and Paul of Wichita KS and Two Sisters Brenda House of Cheney KS and Linda Miller of Wichita KS,  as well as many extended family members including, nieces and nephews, brother and sister in laws and people she considered her family.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday February 1st 2025 at the 47th Street Church of Christ located at 601 W 47th ST S, Wichita KS 67217

In lieu of flowers Clara and Devin are asking for donations towards the end of life care.
