Steven Ray Milner

Steven grew up in Wichita KS and attended and graduated from Wichita public schools. After obtaining his Commercial Drivers License Steven drove trucks locally in the Wichita KS and Tulsa OK Metro areas.

Steven survived an undiagnosed viral infection in 1997 and in 1999 he survived a horrific truck accident that left him in critical condition, but he did not survive the COVID 19 viral infection that took his life November 14, 2024.

Steven was the fourth son and sixth child of Robert E. Milner Sr. and Della Mae Elizabeth (Peace) Milner who both proceeded him in death.

Steven is survived by five brothers and two sisters, Robert (Bobby) E. (Cindy) Milner Jr. of Wichita KS, Billy L. Milner of Arkansas City KS, Gary W. (Rosemary) Milner of Leon KS, Rodney D. (Samantha) Milner of Tulsa OK, Alan D. (Michelle) Milner of Bristow OK, Elizabeth A. (Wilfrid) Patnaude of Bristow OK and Melinda J. (Larry) Venn of Derby KS. Although Steven never married he was uncle to twenty four (24) nieces and nephews, forty seven (47) great nieces and nephews, and six (6) great, great nieces and nephews.

Steven grew up in a Scouting and cowboy, western movie family. His life's foundation was based on the Boy Scout oath, laws, moto, slogan and the Cowboy Code of the West. Steven loved the outdoors and all that came with it. Camping, hunting, fishing whether alone or with family and friends as much as he could all of his life.

Steven's cremains will be inurned and interred with his beloved father and mother at Rossville Cemetery, Lincoln County, Meeker OK.
