In Loving Memory of Steven Lee Michael
September 28, 1946 – October 10, 2026
Steven Lee Michael, age 80, of Wichita Kansas passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2026 at his homeleaving behind a lifetime of memories, a legacy of hard work, and a family who will forever cherish the love and time they shared with him.
Born on September 28, 1946, in Wichita, Kansas, Steven lived a full and vibrant life marked by determination, dedication, and a deep commitment to his family and the communities he called home. He spent three decades as a longtime resident of Enid, Oklahoma, before returning to Wichita, where he spent his final years.
Steven was a hardworking man who took great pride in building something of his own. One of his greatest accomplishments was founding and operating his own roofing company, Shamrock Roofing, for approximately 40 to 50 years. Through decades of dedication and perseverance, he built more than a business; he created a lasting legacy through his work, his determination, and the many lives he touched along the way. Steven also proudly served his country in the United States Navy, a chapter of his life that remained an important part of his story.
Above all, Steven leaves behind a family and a lifetime of memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him. He is survived by his beloved wife, Beverly Star Clark, of the home; his sons, Steven Michael Jr. (Sheri) of Enid, Oklahoma, Troy James Michael (Carol) of Ardmore, Oklahoma, and Mickey Michael; and his daughter, Debbie Doyle of Wichita, Kansas. He is also survived by his stepchildren, Steve Brines, Jason Brines, Angela Brines, and Bobby Brines; his siblings, Patricia, Chip, Tina, and Ernie Joe; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends, neighbors, and longtime associates.
Steven was preceded in death by his first and second wives, Jessie Michael and Patricia Price, and both of his parents, Charles and Patricia and an infant daughter.
Though his passing leaves an emptiness that words cannot fully express, the memories Steven created and the legacy he leaves behind will remain. His life was a testament to hard work, perseverance, and the importance of the people who make life meaningful. While he may no longer be physically present, his memory will continue through the family he loved, the work he built with his own hands, and the countless moments that will be remembered for years to come.
Those we love never truly leave us. They remain in the stories we tell, the memories we hold close, and the love that continues long after they are gone. Steven’s life may have reached its final chapter, but the impact he made and the memories he leaves behind will never be forgotten.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Details will be shared as they become available.
Forever remembered, deeply loved, and never forgotten.
