Stephen Ray Day, 73, of Wichita, KS passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at his home surrounded by family. He was born on June 29, 1950 in Wellington, KS, the son of William P. and Alice (Harris) Day.

He attended Garland High School in Garland, Texas. He was a lifelong machinist, working in Texas and ending his career at Boeing Aircraft in Wichita, until his retirement. He loved Elvis, playing poker, bowling and spending time with friends and family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William P. Sr  and Alice Day, and sister, Catherine Sue Day Craig. Survivors include his sons, Stephen Ray Day, Jr of Wichita, KS and Brian Day of Wichita, KS; sisters, Marcia Higgins of Wellington, KS and Susan Simmons of South Haven, KS; brother, William P. Day, Jr. of Wellington, KS; 1 grandson, Tyler Day and 2 great grandsons, Cooper and Carson Day of Wichita, KS.

Cremation has taken place with services pending.
