Stephen "Steve" Michael Christman passed away peacefully on Friday, July 5, 2025, in Wichita, Kansas. Born on February 19, 1951.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Cathy Ann (Madison) Christman, and his devoted sons, Todd Michael Christman, with his husband Sam, and Matthew James Christman.

Steve is survived by his loving brothers, Bill Christman and Troy Scott Christman. He also leaves behind Paul's ex-wife Dee and her children William Paul and Bradley Charles. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, William F. Christman and Erma Lee (Meyer) Christman, his brother Paul Christman, and Paul's wife Connie, who is survived by her daughter Shiloh Mieres.

Steve proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy as a shipfitter and sub tender. He was stationed in North Carolina and Roda, Spain, and traveled to many places around the world.

Throughout his career, Steve contributed his skills to Boggs Sign Company, Key Management, Prairie Villa, and Arrowhead West. Outside of his professional life, Steve was a true craftsman and problem-solver. He had a passion for woodworking and carpentry, and there was seemingly nothing he couldn't fix, whether it was around the house or under the hood of a car. He also found joy in the outdoors, especially camping, and enjoyed listening to folk and rock music.

A service to celebrate Steve's life will be held at Park Villa, 1029 N. Bitting in North Riverside, on Sunday, July 27th, 2025, at 12:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Lifeline Animal Protection and Placement or the Alzheimer's Association.
