Stanley Ray McLuen was a few months shy of his 80th birthday when he passed in late October 2025.

He was a life-long resident of Wichita, Kansas. He attended Wichita High School East, and Wichita State University. He was known as an educator, auto mechanic, engineer, and overall handyman. He could literally build or repair anything. He had a passion for sailing and vehicles, but was most happy when helping others.

Stan is preceded in death by his parents, Red and Peg McLuen, and his wife Jan (Reeves) McLuen.

He is survived by his sister, Diane McLuen (Wayne Ingham), and his adopted family, The Kinsler "House of Ten," as they were affectionately known.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring.
