Stacy Ann
Sasson
Jul 18, 1971 — Jan 24, 2026
Wichita
Stacy Ann Sasson, a woman defined by her profound kindness and unwavering faith, passed away on January 24, 2026, in Wichita, Kansas, at the age of 54. Born on July 18, 1971 to Morris and Dorothy Johnson, in Liberal, Kansas, Stacy spent her life creating a world of warmth and peace for those she loved.
To know Stacy was to know a heart that was naturally loving, caring, and kind. She had a deep appreciation for the meaning of home and a remarkable eye for design. She found great joy in decorating and crafting a beautiful, special sanctuary for her family, believing that a home should be a true refuge. She worked thoughtfully to ensure her husband and children always felt a sense of peace the moment they walked through the door.
As a mother, Stacy was the quiet heartbeat of her home. Her devotion to Rachel and Ethan was her life's greatest work; she was their constant encourager and their safe harbor. She focused her life on creating a childhood for them defined by her steady presence and her care. She lived for the moments when the family did things together, whether they were sharing a quiet evening at home or traveling in style to a new destination, her children were always at the center of her world.
A devout Jehovah's Witness, Stacy's life was guided by her deep spiritual convictions. She was a woman of firm belief, dedicated to what she warmly called The Truth. Her faith provided the foundation for her character and the strength with which she raised her family, instilling in them the values of kindness and integrity that she modeled every day.
While she spent her early married years in the apartment leasing business and later contributed her talents as the social media manager for the family business, Stacy's most cherished role was always that of a wife and mother.
Stacy's legacy of love continues through her husband, David Sasson; her children, Rachel Olivia Sasson and Ethan Yehuda Sasson; and her mother, Dorothy May Johnson. She was preceded in death by her father, Morris Ray Johnson.
A funeral service to honor Stacy's life and faith will be held on February 9, 2026, at 5:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall located at 6007 East 29th St N, Wichita, KS 67220.
In accordance with Stacy's simple and graceful nature, the family appreciates your thoughts and prayers. The presence of your company at the service is the greatest gift.
