In Loving Memory of Spencer Lee Sollers

September 19, 2000 – October 22, 2025

Spencer Lee Sollers, 25, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2025. He was born on September 19, 2000, in Wichita to his loving parents, Scott Sollers and Sarah Henning.

Spencer graduated from Andover High School in 2019 and went on to study Automotive Technology at Butler County Community College, where he earned his degree in 2020. His love for cars and all things mechanical shaped his career as a talented mechanic. Over the years, he worked at Midwest Kia, Rusty Eck Ford, and The Shop in Augusta, Kansas, before joining Walser Auto Campus, where he happily quoted, "Luxury cars is where it's at." His dedication, skill, and easygoing nature earned him the respect and friendship of coworkers and customers alike.

Spencer wasn't just passionate about his work, he truly lived and breathed cars. He especially loved spending time in the garage working on his beloved Fox body Mustang, tinkering, tuning, and perfecting every detail. That car wasn't just a project, it reflected his creativity, patience, and pride in his craft. This is where he shined.

Spencer was always eager to lend a helping hand, not just when it came to vehicles, but in life. He found real value in helping others, and he showed up for people in ways that made a difference. Spencer had a big heart and an even bigger personality that filled the room. He had a way of making everyone feel like they mattered, and he always gave the best hugs.

Spencer not only loved his family, his friends, but also his fur babies, Maisie, Marvel, and his "ungrateful furball with claws," Angel. If he wasn't taking pictures of his mustang or motorcycle, it was his fur babies. They were his little family, and he truly loved and cared for them deeply.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles E. Henning; grandmother, Elizabeth R. Hannah; and uncle, Jacob F. Sollers.

Spencer is survived by his father, Scott M. Sollers; mother, Sarah L. Henning; sister, Hope E. Sollers; nephews, Jimmy and Andrew; grandparents, Jim and Sue Boots, and Jim and Sharron Sollers. He also leaves behind his aunts and uncles; Bob and Tonya Henning, Brian and Jessica Henning, Debra Boots, Jim Boots, Tom Boots, and Crystal L. Wiley, along with a whole circle of cousins and friends who were more like family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Boston Recreation Center, 6655 E. Zimmerly St., Wichita, KS 67207 on Saturday, November 8th at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a Suicide Prevention organization of your choice or to the Kansas Humane Society, causes that reflect Spencer's compassion and love for others, both people and animals alike. Spencer will be remembered for his humor, his kindness, his love of cars, and the way he made life a little brighter for everyone who knew him.
