Shirley Ann Marie Giroux, 83 passed away at St. Francis hospital on December 11th , 2023 after a hard fought 10yr battle with Alzheimer's Disease.

She was born Shirley Ann Marie Landry to Charles Adlore and Adelle Marie (Dugas) Landry Sr. on May 5 th 1940, in Aurora Kansas.
She married Francis Joseph Giroux on August 11 th 1959. Four children were born of this union. They were married for 26 years before he passed away in 1985. She never remarried.

Shirley was a beauty advisor for Estee Lauder and Dillard's Department store in Salina Ks for 17yrs prior to her retirement in 2007.
She found happiness in reading, spending time with family and friends and traveling when she could.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Francis J. Groux. Three of her children, Patrick Joseph Giroux, Karen Marie Giroux and Michelle Ranie (Mickey) Giroux. Her parents, Charles A. Landry Sr. and Adelle M. (Dugas) Landry and her brother Charles
A. Landry Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Kristin Ann Gromala of Wichita KS. Her sister Alice Marie Jaster of Clyde Ks, her Grandson Steven Joseph (Allissa) Steier of Plainville Ks, Granddaughter, Alexis Ranie Gromala of Wichita and her Great Granddaughter.

A graveside service at St. Concordia Cemetery in Concordia Ks., and celebration of life gathering at Ryan's Funeral home will be held on her 1 st heavenly birthday, May 5th 2024. The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, memorials and donations can be made to Harry Hines Memorial Hospice. 313 S Market.
