Obituary

The late Sherron L. (Ambler) Robinson Sherree/Sharon,  81, of Wichita, Kansas USA, passed away peacefully on March 20th, 2024 with her family by her side.

Born to Franklin (Patsy McCord step-mother)  Ambler (Dec'd)  & Wilma (Brown) McDonald  (Dec'd) in Chandler, Oklahoma.

She was the eldest of 3 children Franklin "Buzz" Ambler(Dec'd)  and Skip (Donna) Ambler (Oklahoma City, OK)

Step siblings  Terri Thompson, Cathy Gray Patty Lawson and Rex Gray (Dec'd)

Companion: Dennis Robinson- Wichita, KS

She leaves 4  biological children: Kevin (Margaret) Alexander- Agra, OK, Kerry Alexander (Augusta, KS), Kande (Jearl) Adams- Augusta, KS and Heather Rosenberg-Wichita, KS and 9 grandchildren; Joshua Alexander, Jerimiah Alexander, Nathan Alexander, Harley Alexander, Daily Rowson, Shann Hess, Shastayn Hess-Maddox, Michael Triana and Nicklyss Triana.

16 Great Grandchildren and 18 Great-Great Grandchildren

9 step-children and their families.

Sherron, retired from the Wichita Eagle newspaper as a Customer Service Representative in the Circulation Department.

In the late 1960's early 1970's, she worked from home ironing clothes to make ends meet.  Then Fred Astaire Dance Studios, Macy's and Dillard's-Downtown Wichita and was a Nail Technician for Seneca Square Hair Fashions.

Her best job was being a mom with the infectious laugh and never let anyone go hungry.  Not only all of her children but to an entire neighborhood of family, friends  and strangers.

She was diagnosed with Dementia/Alzheimer's in the mid 2000's..

In the end, her family was by her side, not to say their good-byes  but  See Ya Laters!

Celebration of Life will be held for family and close friends on Saturday, April 27th, 2024. 2:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m.

In Lieu of flowers or cards, we are accepting donations to get her to her final requested  resting place.
