Ron James May 31, 1963 – December 12, 2024

The family of Ron James is deeply saddened to announce his passing.

Ron's parents were Mike and Lucy (Sawyer) McClellan.

Ron was a member of the Wichita Indian United Methodist Church. A true Kansas City Chiefs fan, he proudly supported his team, rain or shine, even during the lean years.

Ron married the love of his life, Cyndy Perkins, on May 27, 1986. They celebrated their enduring commitment by renewing their vows on May 27, 2003.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Suzanne, and brother Michael.

Ron is survived by his loving wife, Cyndy; son, Robert James (Donica); daughter, Jessica Louis (Xavier); his mother-in-law, Marian Lux; brothers Chris McClellan and Scott McClellan; and he was a proud Papa to five grandchildren: Brycen James, Colton James, Izaiah Louis, Izaac Louis, and Amyah Louis.

Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the Wichita Indian United Methodist Church, located at 1111 N. Meridian, Wichita, KS.
