Roberta Jo Ann (Jones) Flickner, age 82, passed away very peacefully and comfortably in her home on Monday, November 13, 2023. She was surrounded by her son and hospice staff, as she was ushered into the arms of Jesus.

Roberta was born in Arkansas City, KS on February 11, 1941 to Robert L. Jones and Evelyn I. (Beckelhimer) Jones. She went to High School in Braman, OK, and was in the graduating class of 1959. Roberta dedicated much of her career to Shepler's of Wichita between 1987 to 2012, from where she retired.

Roberta is preceded in death by: her husband Junior Wayne Flickner. They were married on April 27, 1963. Junior passed on November 9, 1995. She was also preceded in death by her son, Douglas Branine, of Wichita on May 25, 2017. She was a deeply loving mother of her three sons, David, Douglas and Darrell, from a previous marriage to Leslie Branine.

Beloved to her and survived by her are: David Branine and his wife Terri (Haysville, KS), and their children Beau and Brande. Beau and his wife Leanne (Douglass, KS) have two sons, Peyton and Paxton. Brande and her husband, Blake Nowak, (Andover, KS) have two sons Collin and Carter. Son, Darrell Branine (Lake Forest, CA), was married to Patricia Wilde; they have two children: Samuel (Eugene, OR)
and Olivia (Gainesville, GA).

Roberta was so many things: a devout Christian, loving mother, and friend to all! For all that knew her, she will be remembered as a gentle and kind soul, so compassionate, thoughtful and always there to listen and care for those she held dear to her heart, which was many- her heart was that big!
