Wichita, Kansas - Robert D. Paton Sr, 86 of Wichita Ks, passed away April

21, 2024. He was born May 7, 1937, to Martha & David Paton, in Winfield, Ks. Bob graduated from Winfield High School in 1955. In his youth, Bob enjoyed participating in football, 4-H activities, music festivals; later in life he enjoyed fishing, camping & BBQing. He could talk to anyone and with a voice that carried. He was a big man with a bigger heart.

Bob worked in the trucking industry for 33 yrs, as well as being a proud Watkins distributor since 1988. He had many stories to tell about is adventures. He was actively involved in many churches over the years, and strongly valued his relationship with the lord.

Bob married Judy Johnson and they had two sons, Robert Jr and Greg. Bob later remarried June Houston. June & Bob celebrated 45 years of marriage together. Preceded in death by his parents, Martha & David, grandson Chris Paton, and granddaughter Ivy Owens.

Survivors include wife, June Paton of Wichita, Ks; sons Robert Jr. (Debbie), Greg, stepchildren Nancy Dinell (David), John "Scott" Houston (Patti), Judi Gunther, Rebecca Jordan (Mark Jacob), and Steffanie Owens (Martin); 17 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren; Beloved pet Pumpkin.

Celebration of life April 27th 2 pm at Amazing Grace Baptist Church 1758 S Webb Rd Wichita, Ks. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be givento: Amazing Grace Baptist Church and Caring Hands Humane Society in his name.
