Robert Arnold Chamberlain, 79, of Wichita, KS passed away on March 27, 2024 at his home surrounded by family.  He was born March 18, 1945 in Guatemala City, Guatemala, the son of Robert and Louise Chamberlain.

Attended Moses Brown boarding school from 1959 to 1963 followed by attending Pierce College in New Hampshire.  After which he became active duty in the Air Force from 1969 to 1973 stationed in North Dakota as air traffic controller achieving Sergeant status.  Continuing his passion for flying he went on to fly for charter companies in Florida and in Texas later to become a flight instructor at Flight Safety in Wichita, KS and later retired from.

Interests and hobbies to include a passion for British cars such as his Austin Healey Sprite and model airplanes, gardening, camping, bee keeping, photography, reading, music and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include sister Deborah Chamberlain of Norwood Massachusetts, daughter Jenny Chamberlain and son Robert D. Chamberlain of Wichita, KS and step son Adam Waszkowski of Estero Fl. and two grandchildren Sophia Chamberlain and Robert M. Chamberlain.

Mourned and missed by lifelong friends and family.  His generous heart, humor and gregarious disposition was felt by all.
