Richard Marvin Bowman, 89, of Wichita, Ks passed away Friday January 31,2025 at Harry Hines Memorial Hospital. He was born October 17, 1935, in Wichita, KS, the son of Theodore and Treva (Couchman) Bowman.

Richard graduated from Wichita East High School in, 1954. He worked for Chance Industries for 28 years. He retired in 2000.

He was married to Lora (Martinez) Bowman in 1960. They were married for 65 years.

Survivors include wife Lora (Martinez) Bowman of Wichita, KS; son, Richard Bowman Jr., of Wichita, KS; son Erik Bowman of Wichita, KS; daughter Andrea Bowman-Bekemeyer of South Haven, KS; Teddi Hollingsworth, of Wichita KS; 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, February 8,2025 at 12:00 p.m. at Indian Southern Baptist Church.
