Our dear mother Rhonda K. Wenke-Spillman sadly left this world on November 30th, 2023, at the age of 66. She was proceeded in death by her Mother Lorena Joan Rowland, Father Donald Rowland, Brothers Steve Rowland and Les Rowland, and Sister Janet Rowland. She is survived by her Sons Shawn (Stefanie) Mead and Karl (Hector) Wenke, Daughter Lorena Wenke, and Grandchildren Madison, Michelle, Payton, Aaron and Katlin.

Rhonda was born on December 12, 1956, in Wichita, KS. She graduated from WSU with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1993. After receiving her degree, she went on to work at Wesley Medical Center on the cardiac unit. Though she touched thousands of lives during that time, the lives most important to her were her children, grandchildren, and her four-legged fur baby's. She enjoyed making Christmas cookies with her granddaughters, going to her grandsons' sporting events, spoiling her fur baby's Zach and Grace, and doing crafts.

To honor Rhonda K. Wenke-Spillman's memory, we are holding a celebration of life reception on December 16th, 2023, at Lake Afton, shelter #5 at 2 p.m. We invite anyone who knew her to attend and share with us there favorite memories of her. This will be a non-formal event, because she would not want us to make a huge fuss about it. So we ask you bring your favorite side dish and come enjoy a little time with us as we celebrate our mothers life.
