Rhonda Kay Salazar

On Thursday, August 13, 2026 Rhonda Kay (Wolke) Salazar passed away surrounded by family at the age of 62.

Rhonda was born June 23, 1964 at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, KS. She married Juan F. Salazar on June 26, 1981 and had six children: Flavio (Sarah) of Augusta, KS, Juan, Denise, Jose, Jesus (Sierra) of Edmond, OK, and Rachel Salazar. She was the best Grandma to fifteen grandchildren: Mia, Roman, Gabriel, Annaira, Reina, Arianna, Victoria, Claire, Jeremiah, Victor, Isaiah, Javier, Dominick (Ava), David, and Sebastian. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life. She brought them endless joy and laughter. Many memories were made and will forever be cherished.

She is preceded in death by her father, Leonard George Wolke; her mother, Janice Marie Martin; her younger brother, Steven Earl Martin; and her dearly loved grandmother, Clara Mae Ellison who she is now reunited with in heaven.

Rhonda’s children wish to acknowledge all the family, friends, and Park/Irving staff, with deep appreciation for the many expressions of love, concern and kindness shown to them during this hour of bereavement. May God bless and keep you.

Viewing will be Thursday, August 20, 2026 from 5-7 pm at Baker Funeral Home.  Memorial Service to be held Friday, August 21, 2026 at 10:00 am at Baker Funeral Home, 6100 East Central, Wichita, KS.
