Rebekah Jane DeThample Owens Meek was born May 3, 1955. She left for home on March 2, 2024.  Missing her deeply is her husband Donald, brother Steve, sister Debbie, sons Bryan and Robert, grandchildren Johnathan and Susannah, and many many members of her family and many friends. Proceeding  her in death were her father Charles, mother Patricia, and brother Kent.

She was a lifelong resident of Wichita, except for a short stay in California. She graduated from Southeast High School in 1973. Shortly after she married Robert Owens and through this union Bryan and Robert were born. Parting ways after 10 years, Becky held many interesting jobs. Her favorites were with Smart and Final in Sacramento, California and as a dental surgery assistant in Wichita. Sadly as her life went on she developed many different illnesses that broke her down physically but not spiritually. She fought valiantly for 30 plus years, but cancer and liver failure took her from us. Through it all she never waivered in her faith and love for Jesus Christ and she is with him now and for all eternity.
