Raymond Reece Gaultney, 85 of Humboldt, Kansas passed away on January 16, 2024.  He was born on November 22, 1938 in Plainville, Kansas to Thomas and Huetta (McDaniel) Gaultney.

He was a current Wal-Mart cashier in Chanute, Kansas and had worked there for over ten years.  He had previously retired from Kelly & Dawson after 40 years of employment.

He is preceded in death by his mother Huetta McDaniel and father Thomas Gaultney; brother Tommy Gaultney; step-mother Jewell Gaultney; step-sister Sharon Hames and a niece and a nephew.

He is survived by his daughter, Cindy Metcalf, grandson Brandon Metcalf; brother Gary (Frankie) Lee; step-sister Velda Wikes; niece Terry (Kent) Sibley; Nephew Rudy (Sue) Bransford and other nieces and nephews; girlfriend Kay Elder; Kay's daughter Deana (Calvin) Morrow;  Kay's son Randy Elder; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Burial will be at El Paso Cemtery in Derby, Kansas at a later date.
