Randy Dean Merriman, 67, of Wichita, KS, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2025 at home battling terminal liver cancer.  He was born February 8, 1958, in Wichita, KS, the youngest of Dirse and Beulah Merriman.

Randy graduated from Southeast High School in 1976 and attended Wichita State University after.  He then went on to work in the aircraft industry in his younger  years.  Although most of his life he was a self-employed carpet layer.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Dirse Hazel Merriman Jr. and Beulah Eleanor (Rose) Merriman, Sister Helen Jo Reece and Brother-in-law Howard Reece, Sister Debbie Ann Patton, Brother-in-law Tim Miles and Partner of 15 years Candy Dill.

Survivors include siblings:  Jan Miles of Augusta, KS, Jackie Ash (Wiley) of Shell Knob, MO, John Merriman (Peggy) of Baxter Springs, KS. Nephews and Nieces: Danny Reece, Warrensburg, MO, Molly McCollum (Rocky) of Colorado Springs, CO, John Miles (Melissa) of Benton, KS, Jeremy Miles of Wichita, KS, Amy Stueven (Josh) of Augusta, KS, Dusty Merriman of Springfield, MO, Kailey Merriman of Wichita, KS and Nate Ash of Wichita, KS, 2 Great Nephews, 6 Great Nieces, 2 Great-Great Nephews and 1 Great-Great Niece.  He also has many friends and will be missed by all.

Memorial Services  will be held Saturday, January 24, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at True Life Church in Wichita, KS.  Celebration of life will follow on Saturday, January, 24, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. at The Triangle Club (The Triangle Tavern) in Wichita, KS.  Casual attire for both events as he would want everyone to be comfortable.  Graveside service will be scheduled at a later date.
