Paul Howland Morris, 85, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025, in Wichita, Kansas.

Born on February 11, 1940, in Providence, Rhode Island, Paul was the son of George and Ruth Howland Morris. He graduated from Holden High School in Holden, Massachusetts, in 1958. He began his studies at Fitchburg State Teachers College but left upon receiving his draft notice for the U.S. Army. Instead, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy on January 2, 1962.

While stationed in the Midwest that same year, Paul met Margery Jane Weaver. The two married in May 1964 and lived in Newport, Rhode Island, where Paul was assigned to the USS Yosemite. In 1966, they returned to the Midwest and made it their home.

Paul is survived by his wife, Margery; his son, Neal; his daughter, Andrea; and three siblings. He was also blessed with five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, October 23, at 6:30 p.m. at the Sunflower Shelter in Sedgwick County Park. Funeral services will follow on Friday, October 24, at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery, 1208 North College, Winfield, Kansas at 2 p.m.
