Patsy Ann (Jones)Thompson, 78, of Wichita, Kansas passed away Monday, May 19, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born September 7, 1946, in Hollister, California. The daughter of Charley and Zella Jones.

Patsy graduated from Wichita East High School in 1964. She worked at and retired from USD 259 in 2006 with over 30 years of service.

In 1966, Patsy was married (24 years) and had two children, Kenny and Stacie. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law and friend. She loved spending time baking with loved ones, working in her flower garden and especially loved all holidays, mainly because she got to spend time with her family. Patsy loved her animals and was a wonderful dog mom and grandma.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, Charley and Zella (Moore) Jones and sister Donna F Dozier.

Patsy was survived by her son, Kenneth R Thompson (Lorilee); daughter Stacie A Thompson; her grandchildren, Shelby K Haugh (Zac), Charley R Thompson (Kassie), Joe D Thompson (Mary) and Jessica S Thompson; her great grandchildren, Liam, Iris, Aurora and Apollo; all of Wichita, Kansas.

Graveside service will be held at White Chapel Cemetery, 1806 N. Oliver, Wichita, KS on Monday, June 2nd at 2:00 PM
