Patricia "Patty" Thomas, born July 9, 1957, in Perryton, Texas, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2026, in Augusta, Kansas, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering care for all who knew her.

Patty was the proud mother of Nicholas (Jessica) Edwards, Chantel (Doug) Magill, Sheri (Jeremy) Smith, and Zachary Thomas. She cherished her role as "Grandma" to her many grandchildren—biological and not—and was overjoyed to welcome her first great-granddaughter.

Known for being the life of the party and full of laughs, Patty lit up any room she entered. Her warmth, humor, and generosity made her a natural caregiver, always ready with a listening ear, a comforting word, or a helping hand. Beyond her devotion to her family, she was a "Mama" and "Grandma" to many others, offering guidance, support, and unconditional love to friends and extended loved ones who came to see her as family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Thomas; mother, Josephine Cooper; father, Roy Overton; step-father, Frank Moore; and siblings, Julie Lewis, Tina Moore, and Flint Overton.

Patty will be deeply missed and forever cherished by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
