Pamela Sue (Pulaski) Strunk, aka Pami, passed on November 22, 2025, at 68 years old. She was born on October 5, 1957, in Newton, KS, to Merle Sr. and Elda May (Witt) Pulaski. She graduated in 1975 from Newton High School and married Peter James Strunk on June 3rd, 1978, and was married for 47 years.

Pami was preceded in death by her dad, Merle Sr. Pulaski; mom, Elda May (Witt) Pulaski; and brother, Merle Jr. Pulaski.

Survivors include husband Peter J. Strunk of Wichita, KS; sister Terri (Pulaski) Ryman and husband Jerry Ryman of Elkhart, KS; son Ryan Strunk and wife Angela of Wichita, KS; son Chris Strunk of Overland Park, KS; daughter Katie Strunk of Manhattan, KS; son Patrick Strunk of Wichita, KS; daughter Danielle (Strunk) Ramirez and husband Valen of Wichita, KS; and 16 grand-children.

Pami was a homemaker, decorator, and creator of cakes, arts, and crafts. Her motto in life was, "less is more," and had a witty saying for every occasion, including "if you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit," and she did just that every day.  Her style was simple and classy. She was a leg-wrestling champion and egg master, having grown up on a farm with 40,000 chickens, where she donned a funky chicken kitchen and brought up to 12 dozen deviled eggs to Strunk events. She never found a stray cat she couldn't tame.  She loved angels, flowers, and never passed on anything Reese's!

Anyone who knew her understood that she was a good listener, private & modest, yet perceptive and good at analyzing people.  She was a woman of integrity, exacting with words and was a public notary. Her grandkids might remember her for the unique Christmas ornaments each year.

There will be a Rosary on Thursday, December 4th, at 1:30 pm, followed by a gathering from 2-5 pm at Christ The King Catholic Church, 4411 W Maple St, Wichita, KS, in Charity Hall basement.  Food will be served.
