Otto Francis Elliott, 83 of Wichita, Kansas (Kirksville, MO), passed away at home Saturday, May 17, 2025.

Otto was born March 26, 1942, in Baring, MO (Rural) to Emmett and Rose (Anderson) Elliott, and grew up with three brothers and 2 sisters.

As an adult, he lived in many different states throughout his life, including Missouri, Iowa, Kansas, Nevada and Arizona. His latter years were spent in Kirksville, MO, before moving back to Wichita, Kansas after the death of his wife, Darcy in 2023.

He was a master of many trades including welding, logging and carpentry with his specialty being making furniture. He married Darcy Ann Davis on October 25, 1986. They were married for 37 years.

Otto is survived by his six daughters, Melissa Richey of Wichita, KS, Kitten Warren (Tim) of Haysville, KS, Debbie Tucker (Bob) of Wichita, KS, Candy Abernathy (Frank) of Wichita, KS, Jodie Smith (Mike) of Omaha, NE, and Cindy Gilbert (Perry) of Wichita, KS; and stepson, Nathan Davis of Eugene,OR; as well as 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by three of his siblings, Dean Elliott, Marilyn Thomas, and Zelma Munts.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Darcy Ann Davis; his parents, Emmett and Rose Elliott; his brothers Junior Elliott of Downing, MO, Jerry Elliott of Bonaparte, IA; as well three of his grandsons, Taylor Roach of Wichita, KS, Jacob Richey of Kansas City, MO, and Parker Smith of Omaha, NE.

Otto will be buried along side his wife at the Bonaparte Cemetery in Bonaparte Iowa.
