Ora Orville Meddock Jr. was born on May 30, 1949, to Dorothy Lucille and Ora Orville Meddock Sr.
Ora graduated from high school in Orlando, FL. He immediately enlisted in the United States Air Force at the age of 17. During his 21 years of esteemed service, he was assigned to presidential duties in Washington, D.C. and proudly served in the Vietnam War.
Prior to marrying Sheree on September 11, 1996, he dedicated his life to Christ, and they worshipped most recently at College Crest Church of Christ.
After his retirement from the Coleman Company (15 years), he continued his work with Power CDC on the renovation of the Dunbar Community Center.
Those who will dearly miss him and cherish his memories are devoted wife, Sheree Meddock; daughters, Antonia Alexander and Via (Kendar) Fowler; grandchildren, Stephanie, Stephan, Raigan, Kalei, Ember; sisters-in-law, Cassandra Murrell, Pamela Herrington, Dana Edwards; brother-in-law, Robert Edwards; nephews, Tony(Mary) and Joey Cutlip; nieces, Tammy (Curtis) Perrin, Alice (Jim) Haerr, Katrina Wellman, and Ginny Cutlip.
He is preceded in death by loving mother, Dorothy Coolidge; stepfather, Casey Coolidge; father, Ora Orville Meddock Sr.; brothers Chris and Robert Hawk; sister, Connie Cutlip; and adored mother-in-law, Ina Edwards Logan.
