Obituary

Nora Faye Logan, 71, of Wichita, KS, peacefully passed away in the early hours of Sunday, May 5, 2024, at St. Francis Hospital.

Nora was born on June 30, 1952, to Bill and Theresa Cave in Wichita, KS. She was one of five children. She always held a wild streak, even as a child. She was a creative and free-spirited woman who appreciated the company of good friends and family. She remained young at heart throughout her 71 years, no matter what life threw her way. Whether it was creating new artwork in the form of fashion or décor, or meeting with her loved ones for coffee, Nora was never short of self-confidence and sass.

Nora remained resilient throughout her battles with cancer. Her strength kept her fighting until her very last breath. She was surrounded by loved ones while she peacefully passed.  She is preceded in death by her parents William (Bill) & Theresa Cave, and two of her brothers, William (Bill) Sr. Cave and Wesley (Wes) Cave.

Nora enjoyed her daily outing for coffee and coffee in general. In her lifetime, she loved the companionship of animals. There was rarely a time, if any at all, that she didn't have a pet. For a while, she was even a dog breeder. She was a woman of many talents. In her free time, she could be found shopping, painting, crocheting, or recreating her jewelry or clothing to make them suit her style. It always brought Nora happiness to get dressed up in her western wear to go out with family and friends. She was always ready for something fun.

Nora is survived by her partner of 28 years, Ernest Wood; Daughters Virginia Sigaran (Scott), Dawn Leithead (Bobby); siblings Michael Cave (Patty), and Theresa Clark; grandchildren Megan Busher (Michael), Jessica Sigaran, Brandon Sigaran, Blake Logan-Easter (Liz), And Dylan Logan-Easter; and great grandchildren Lakyn, Hayden, Canton, Parker, Graciella, Xander, and Rory.
