Myrna Elaine (Carlson) Bain of El Dorado, Kansas passed away peacefully with family by her side on September 17, 2023, at the young age of 77. Born to Oliver and Ruth Carlson in Wichita, Kansas on December 15, 1945. Her siblings include Sandy Green (husband Vern) and Dennis Carlson (wife Maria). Myrna graduated from Wichita's North High School in 1963, and then went to Wichita Business College where she met the love of her life. February 13, 1966 Myrna married Gerald Bain enjoying 57 years of life together. They have two children, Daniel (wife Toni) and Mindy (husband John), who blessed them with four grandchildren, Sharon (husband Alex), Erica (husband Daniel), Tyler and Traci. Myrna was also blessed with two great-grandchildren, Aiden and Caleb.  Myrna spent 18 years at the old McDonald's on East Kellogg in Wichita as an opener and swing manager before her retirement.  Myrna was also active with EHU for many years. She enjoyed her family, reading books and the casino for entertainment. Myrna lived a life full of passion for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. No memorial is planned at this time. In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests donations be sent to Good Shepherd Hospice of Wichita, Kansas.
