Michael Anthony Dickson,75, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away Aug. 3rd, 2025. Mike was born Aug. 30, 1949, in Wichita, and was the oldest of 10 children.

Immediately after graduating High School, Mike joined the U.S. Air Force, where he served as an aircraft mechanic in Vietnam and Thailand.  He was proud of serving as an instructor of English as a 2nd language to Thai citizens.  After service, he pursued his college degree, then returned to Wichita, where he joined his father in the family plumbing business, a company he ran for the next 54 years.

Mike was an inventor, and an ardent collector of books and art.  He was an active member of MENSA, with an insatiable curiosity about why the world works the way it does, and how it could be changed for the better.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents James M. Dickson and Lila M. Dickson.

He is survived by 9 siblings--brothers Joseph and Kevin Dickson, and sisters Georgene Head, Stephanie Gile, Kathy (Lynn) Smith, Michelle Dickson, Christina Stotler, Andrea Hamilton and Delanie Young, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
