Marlene Moreland passed away on October 21, 2025 at the age of 84. She was born April 21, 1941 in Chanute, KS the daughter of Kenneth Leroy Munsell and Gyneth Roene Lefever Munsell.

On March 19, 1957, Marlene was united in marriage to Clarence Irwin Moreland in Hutchinson, KS. They made their home in Wichita, where she worked at a restaurant. In 1970 the family moved to Cedar Vale, KS where Marlene worked as a cook and a homemaker. In 1986 they moved to Eureka, KS. She worked for the state of Kansas.

She is survived by 5 children, Clarence "Leroy" & Joyce Moreland of Sedan, KS; Robert Eugene Moreland and Dawn of Lima, OH; Mary "Theressa" Tye of Derby; Pamela Ann & Randy Edwards of Wichita, KS; Eddie Dean and Judy Moreland of Wichita, KS; Many Grandchildren, great grandchildren & Great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Clarence Irwin Moreland; Daughter Daphne Lynne Emert; granddaughter Alicia Schiefelbein; grandson David Irwin Smith; sister Sherry Darlene Stone; and nephew Sean Rose.

Memorial Services for Marlene will be November 15, 2025 @ 10:00 AM in Eureka, KS at Eureka Methodist Church. 521 Main St. with Pastor Linda Pope officiating
