Marva Jean Kiewning (Jeannie), 86, of Wichita, Ks., passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at 12:22 P.M. She was born July 08, 1937 in Caldwell, Ks., the daughter of John and Floy (Ruth) Mohney.

Jeannie graduated High School in 1955.

She worked several years at Boeing in Wichita, Ks. She worked Zales Jewelry for a short time and then became a Mary Kay Cosmetics sales person, working her way up to director, and earning a pink car along with many other awards.

She married Richard Eugene Kiewning on November 02, 1979. He preceded her in death on September 22, 2008 after almost 29 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by her parents, John and Floy Mohney, brothers, Wayne, Horold, Ed, and sister, Myrtle.

Survivors include sons, Mike Henning of Park City, Ks., Ron Henning of Springfield, Mo., sisters, Betty, Mary, and brother, Donny, 2 grandchildren, Brad and Ashlyn, and 2 great-grandchildren, Reagan and Nora.

There will be a celebration of life some time in late spring or early summer, 2024.
