Martha "Marty" Kay Rustin, 81 of Wichita, KS passed away on September 12, 2024 at Rainbow Care Home in Wichita, KS.   She was born April 4, 1943 in Oklahoma City, OK to Ray Kenneth and Martha Olive (Conn) Osborn.

Marty was a proud graduate of Harding High School in 1961. She attended The University of Oklahoma and met her husband William Rustin there.  She was a member of Chi Omega and was a life-long Sooner fan.  She attended Wichita State University where she earned her Bachelor Degree in Psychology.  Marty later earned her master degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Friends University.  She worked in Juvenile and Adult Probation and Kansas Children's Service League.

She married William "Bill" Rustin in 1964, he preceded her in death on April 12, 2012.  She was also preceded in death by her parents and a brother Ray Kenneth Osborn, II.

Survivors include her daughter, Laura Allison Rustin of Wichita, KS and a sister-in-law, Donna J Morrison of Kansas City, KS.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home in Wichita, KS.  Inurnment will follow at Old Mission Cemetery in Wichita.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to The National Park Service or Infinity Home Health and Hospice.
