Marquise William Smith born January 27, 2006 in Wichita, KS age 18 passed away on February 20, 2024 in Maize, KS peacefully at home with Crystal Kolade (Mother) and Sheryl Smith(Grandmother). He is survived by William Gichuru (Father), Alayla Smith(Sister), Lucy and Katherine Gichuru (Sister's), Kasey Smith(Aunt), Darryn Frierson (Uncle), Darryn Frierson Jr and Da'Cari Frierson (Cousins), Heather Smith (Aunt), Harry Smith (Grandfather) and other cousins and other family and friends. Marquise was a smart loving Son, Brother, Nephew, Cousin, Grandson and a friend. He graduated from South high-school. He was a hero to everyone who knew him and touched everyone soul. He always had a smile on his face and made people laugh. Even with having Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy he remained positive and in good spirits and stayed strong the whole time
