Marlin Eugene (Gene) Wilhelm, 93, of Wichita, KS passed away Monday, April 21, 2025 at Harry Hynes Hospice.  He was born May 27, 1931 in Mills County, Iowa, the son of Marion and Florence Wilhelm.

Gene graduated from Malvern High School in 1948 and joined the Air Force.  He was stationed in Colorado and Wichita, KS where he met his wife, Juanita June O'Handlen, and settled in Wichita after discharge from the Air Force.  He retired from Plastic Fabrication after 40 years.

Gene is survived by a daughter, Roberta (Bobbie) Pettriess and husband Mike of Wichita, KS,  son, Richard Wilhelm and wife Kathy of Wichita, KS, and son, Michael Wilhelm and wife Debbie of Orange City, FL.  6 grandchildren, Chris and David Pettriess, Stephen Wilhelm, Terah Quintero, Micah Stewart and Shawn Wilhelm.  19 great grandchildren and  8 great-great grandchildren.
