Mark Kevin Young

Beloved son, father, grandfather, and friend

02/17/1971- 11/16/2025

On February 17th, 1971, Gerald and Nancy Young had their second child Mark Kevin Young. Mark Young and his older brother, Tim Young, went to school in Newton, Kansas. Mark Young had a head strong and driven personality, he enjoyed wrestling while in school.

Mark Young went on to find the woman of his dreams Michelle Gordon and they got married on December 6th, 1991. Mark and Michelle had two beautiful daughters and lived their lives in Wichita, Kansas. Mark Young was a successful electrician and worked with IBEW in the Wichita area. Mark Young was a person to put his all in everything he would do, and do the best he could for his family. Mark Young enjoyed watching many sports and had a list of baseball stadiums he wanted to attend before he passed away. His family was able to help in checking off some of those stadiums to help him live those dreams. Mark Young's health declined in the year of 2025 and on November 16th, 2025, Mark Young was found to have passed away inside his apartment in the Wichita area. Mark Young had many family members and friends, who cared about him and they have many happy memories of him.

Mark Young is survived by his mother Nancy Young, and his two daughters Emily Jensen, Valleri Nickerson and their families.
