Mark Anthony Rowland, 65 of Wichita, Ks passed quietly in his home on March 23, 2025 for his journey to Valhalla.

Mark owned and operated Mark Rowland Siding and Windows and Riverhouse Traders Collectible Comics and toys.

He was born October 1,1959 to Klor Rowland Sr., and Bonnie (Pence) Rowland in Inglewood, Los Angeles  County, CA.  He was the 4th of 6 children.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years Cheryl (Wenke) Rowland, sons Sean and Zane, daughter-in-law Adriana Mertes and two precious grandsons Rodrick and Lliam Rowland, siblings Cheri Carpenter of Wichita, KS, Bonnie Rodriguez of Carmel Valley, CA and Klor Rowland Jr. of Surprise, AZ, extended family and a plethora of friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings Roseanna Hitchcock, Tom Rowland and nephews Chris Carpenter and Jason Hitchcock.

Mark was a Renaissance Man, a high level Boxer and Martial Artist, as well as a gifted pen, ink and color artist, carpenter, poet, he loved to play the guitar and bass, write poetry, lyrics, sing and dance and work out.  He loved to share his passion for comic books and enjoyed seeing the smiles of kids, old and young, and especially his sons and grandsons when he shared this knowledge with them.

A Celebration of Life will be Sunday. April 13, 2025 at Kiwanis Park, 5101 W 2nd St. N., Wichita, KS 67212 from 2pm - 4:30 pm.  Service at 3pm.
