Obituary

Mark Major of Andover, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at 51 years of age.  Mark was a kind man with a strong Christian faith.  He read his Bible daily, particularly enjoying Psalms 24 and Psalms 139.  He was baptized on December 1, 1968 at Faith Lutheran Church and confirmed on May 2, 1982 at Bethany Lutheran Church. He graduated from Circle High School in 1987.

Mark had a passion and talent for anything related to cars.  He was a talented artist, and loved music and animals.  He loved his family and was supportive and generous to everyone he met.
Those left to remember him with love are his parents, Dave and Irene Major; sister and brother-in-law Kathy Downing and Gary Cloud; sister and brother-in-law Sara and Jon Ibbetson; nieces Story Downing and Albani Ibbetson, nephew Hank Cloud, and many loving cousins.
A memorial service for Mark will be held at Peace Lutheran Church, where Mark was a proud church member, 405 W. 21 St. , Andover, on Friday, December 6, 2019 at 4:00 p.m.
