Marjorie Janette (Davis) Leverenz, 92, of Wichita, KS, passed away Friday, March 29th, 2025. She was born June 7th, 1932, in O'Neill, Nebraska, daughter of William and Lola (Knapp) Hungerford.

Marge held multiple jobs throughout her life but was primarily a housewife and busy mother of 4 girls. She was an active member of the United Methodist Church and enjoyed being outside doing yard work, fishing and loved watching birds. Marge was also a member of Al-anon and worked with Alateen for over 40 years.

She married Jack L. Davis in 1950. He preceded her in Death September 2nd,1974. She was also preceded in death in by Larry D Leverenz, Sunday, April 3rd, 2005. In addition, preceding her in death, her parents, William and Lola Hungerford, Brothers Jim, Dick, Lynn and Sister Barb. Two of her daughters, Nancy R. Davis and Mary K Boyd.

Survivors include Brother Bruce Hungerford of Longpine, Nebraska, Daughters Jo Carpenter and Patty Basgall (Leo) both of Wichita, KS: 8 Grandchildren, 20 Great-Grandchildren and 6 Great-Great Grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday. April 19th,2025 at 3:30 in Wichita, KS. Please contact Patty or Jo for information.
